Your wedding day goes by in the blink of an eye. One minute you’re getting ready with your favorite people and the next you’re sharing your last dance.
My goal is to capture your day exactly as it happened. The big moments you’ll never forget and the little ones you didn’t even realize were happening. The quiet glances, the happy tears, the hugs, the laughter, and everything in between.
You may not watch your wedding film every day, but there will come a day when you want to hear those voices again, relive those moments, and remember exactly how it all felt. That’s why I do what I do!

SUPER 8 FILM
If you’re looking to add another element to your wedding video, you should consider adding Super 8 Film.
So, what is it? Super 8 is an old-school film camera from the 60s that captures your wedding day in a unique, nostalgic way. I bring the camera along to your wedding and use it to document little moments throughout your day.
After your wedding, I send the film out to be digitized so I can incorporate the footage into your final wedding video. If you add Super 8 onto your package, you will also receive all of the raw footage from your roll of film, which is about 3 minutes.
Super 8 film does not record sound, but it adds a really fun vintage element to your wedding film!

If I’m available, I’ll send over my wedding film guide where you can learn more about my approach, browse my collections, and select the option that’s the best fit for your day.
03. Tell Me More
Once you’ve selected your collection, I’ll send over a short questionnaire so I can learn more about you and your wedding.
04. Make it Official
After reviewing your questionnaire, I’ll send over your proposal, contract, and invoice. A signed contract and 50% nonrefundable retainer are required to reserve your date.
05. You’re Booked!
Once everything is complete, your wedding date is officially secured!

Hi, I’m Lexa — a destination wedding videographer capturing the moments you never want to forget!
I’ve been filming weddings since 2019, but my love for creating videos started long before that. There’s something so special about being able to relive a moment exactly as it felt, and I love creating films that bring those emotions back to life.
My approach is simple. I want you to feel comfortable being fully present on your wedding day while I quietly capture everything unfolding around you. I work alongside your photographer and take a fly-on-the-wall approach, focusing on the candid moments, the little details, and the genuine emotions that make your day uniquely yours.
From the details you spent months planning to the laughs with your favorite people, I want your wedding film to feel like stepping back into the day all over again.
I’m based in Metro Detroit, Michigan, and ready to travel wherever your story takes me!

I’m on a mission to film a wedding in every state across the country. It’s something I’ve dreamed about since the very beginning of Lexa Rae Films, and I would love for you to be part of the journey.
If you’re getting married in a state I haven’t filmed in yet, I’ll cover the travel costs so you can have your wedding documented without adding travel expenses to your package. All you have to do is choose the package that feels right for you, and I’ll take care of the rest!
